I get the joke and I like the idea, but unfortunately is not very well made.
My plugin crashed the two times I tired to play. (firefox).

metalmikata responds:

Yeah you're right, for some reason Stencyl (the program I used to make this) makes crashes very easy since it can't handle a ton of things happening on screen at once.

Sorry about that man, I hope you enjoyed the little taste of Monkey Madness you had before the game just fucked your shit up.

This game has a nice and fun mechanic. Control is responsive and art style is cute.
Add extra details on the levels and characters, some music and sound effects and you'll have a solid game.

yaup responds:

We'll definitely work on making things neater when we can get to them!

Thanks for the feedback!

All this game needs it's some action packed music.

brycer9 responds:

Music added =)

The only thing not so awesome about this game it's that it has only two levels.
All the rest is spot on. You really nailed the style of the old PC games.

FettFetterson responds:

Thanks! The finished game will definitely have more than two levels! Glad you enjoyed it and got the feel I was going for! Part of the reason I did this demo was to see if people "got" the whole DOS shareware era throwback and to see if this was something people would actually be interested in.

It has potential to become a good game, but for now it's still very incomplete.
The physics are a bit strange, they feel too fast.

Butt-Fat responds:

thanks for the feedback! i'll work on making the physics more realistic.

Not a bad mini game, just too short.
It could use better music, the tracks it has, sound a bit clunky.
On the final level the moving platform makes the character bounce constantly, and the jump becomes unresponsive because of that.

Thanks for the response!

It has potential, the control works well, and the moving white blocks to help you keep going its a nice addition to the platforming. Add more levels, some music, sound effects and a restart button and this could be something good. Keep creating.

AlexDan responds:

Yeah, next time i make the game so long, but this time i have some problems, and i close this project. Okay, sorry for bad english, i talk english like a potato. :))

Controls respond well, the character is very simple, but could work as it is, if it had better animation.
There would be good to have a clear distinction between pits and platforms, if both are black, low platforms can be confused. music to set the mood and sound effects are a "must have"
I hope this is helpful to you. Keep creating.

SmarterThenYou responds:

I am changing the platforms. thank you.

Fun challenge. Controls respond well, and its a nice extra to have various difficulty levels.
The sound effects are good, just edit them properly to avoid those "clicky" sounds.
Some cool background music to set the mood will be nice to have too.

minimummums responds:

Thanks for saying something about the clicking, I hadn't noticed that! I can also tell you didn't toggle the intensity mode in the pause menu =P (unless you think 80s chase music isn't cool) Thanks for the review!

Never played one of you dead detention series before, now I'm interested, seems like I have plenty of backtracking to do. Interesting story and simple but charismatic artwork. Solid visual novel.

JackAstral responds:

Thanks!

There's so many things I don't understand , and I'm not sure if I want to.
