Everything this game lacks on length, exceeds on style.

Nice and simple minigame. The difficulty goes up very quickly ; once those missiles start to fly you are as good as dead. Being able to jump over them or increasing the character's speed would make that aspect easier to handle. I also noticed the music doesn't loop seamlessly (firefox). The rest seems good to me.

Thank you so much!! And I don't see why I shouldn't add a jump feature, I might look into that!! :D And music is always weird with HTML5... I don't know if its the browser or GameMaker Studio's doing or not...

It's a good puzzle, I like the game mechanics.
The presentation it's still very rough, the game it's entertaining enough, but the looks of it are not very appealing, some atmospheric music will be a great addition too.

It's a nice short demo, controls work fine, good sound.
Art style looks too simple, (except for the main char sprite, which looks fine) it needs a lot of work on that area. Hit detection it's a bit weird, enemies can hurt you while they are disappearing.

About the story, what about this ? :
You could keep the name and use it with a purpose.
The game could be about this guy looking for a name, maybe for himself, maybe for some other person or thing.

A very entertaining and artistic time waster. Really enjoyable and worth to develop further.
It could be improved by adding more kinds of lines like square or sine waves to increase the possible combinations and maybe some chilly atmospheric music as background.

Weren't those toys called spirographers or something like that ?

One of my favorite c3jam games so far.
Even if it is a short game, the art style, sound, control and game mechanics make up for it.
I would love to play a longer version of this one.

It's an entertaining quiz / trivia, but it feels a bit weak in presentation as it is.
You could increase its appeal by adding some music as well as images for the cards and playing field.
The sound effects and the stars animation when placing the cards are good details to have.

Thanks for your input, I will look into what type of music I could add. As for images, I am working on getting an artist for that.

It is entertaining despite its simplicity, but needs some extra details to be more attractive, a super catchy background song would be a must have.

First allow me to clarify, I rate 1 star just because it is a test.
And now some feedback :
Even if it is simple, It's a good concept, specially for an educational game. Control responds well, good hit boxes, I like the different planes on the scenery as well as the character. Quick reflexes are needed, the hazards appear very close to the target flowers, but is manageable, a bigger "garden" can increase the challenge level. I think a more "action vibe" music would be good to have, but that is just personal taste. I hope this is useful to you.

Still very incomplete, but I like the idea here. Here's my feedback.
Good things :
The character has good animation, controls work fine, good music and sound effects, hotkeys are convenient (specially to replenish health) the rooms are simple which is helpful for battling, the buy/sell system works and the control responds well.
Things to improve on :
Instructions are shown too quickly, the char. stats. and dialogs could be better placed on the upper side of the screen, those obstruct visibility of the action, foes should have a distinct look, enemies tend to crowd around and attack all at the same time which leads to cheap deaths, a game over (or at least a restart button is a must have) maybe some check points to restart.

That's what I can think after doing a quick play, I hope this is helpful to you.
